China-EU International Forum on Rail Transit

On the morning of November 9, 2023, the China-Europe Rail Transit International Forum on Rail Transit was held in Fengtai Garden Expo Park. The forum is sponsored by the people's Government of Fengtai District, Beijing, the German Rail Industry Association and Zhongguancun Development Group. Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Fengtai Park Management Committee, Beijing Zhongguancun Rail Transit Industry Development Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhongguancun Science and Technology Service Co., Ltd., Zhongguancun International Holdings Co., Ltd., International Technology transfer Cooperation Network (ITTN).

Zhang Jie, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Fengtai District People's Congress, Zhang Jinhui, deputy general manager of Zhongguancun Development Group, and Peter Munich, chief Chinese representative of German Rail Industry Association, attended the forum and delivered speeches. It is understood that the German Rail Industry Association will work with China to build a multi-standard rail transit system, low-carbon green travel mode and intelligent digital rail transit 4.0 system to provide comprehensive solutions for the sustainable development of transportation.

Subsequently, the Beijing International Technology Exchange Alliance and Beijing Zhongguancun Rail Transit Industry Development Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Rail transit is an important international economic context and civilized link, which promotes economic integration and people to people exchanges. China and the EU have maintained dialogue and cooperation relations in the field of transportation for a long time and established a number of bilateral mechanisms. Among them, China EU cooperation in the field of transportation is an important part of China EU scientific and technological cooperation, and has made outstanding contributions to digitalization and sustainable development.

Focusing on the theme of "international cooperation in rail transit", the forum focuses on the fields of global frontier new standard, intelligent construction and operation, intelligent equipment, green energy, etc. Representatives of Casco signal co., ltd., Italian robot national capability center, German national railway system technology company, Heikeskang manufacturing intelligent technology (Qingdao) co., ltd., Shanghai yipeng transportation technology group and Bima (Beijing) rail transit research institute co., ltd, keynote speech on international cutting-edge technology and company strategic layout to promote China-EU rail transit technology cooperation and industrial transformation.

This time, the China-EU Rail Transit International Forum was jointly held with the German Rail Industry Association, which created more opportunities for project cooperation between Chinese and German companies. The exchange and sharing of industry business representatives promoted the mutual reference of rail transit European experience and domestic experience, and further promoted China-EU rail transit business cooperation and rail transit industry development.
